 June 6- Adopt-A-Trail @ Redbird
Anyone interested in attending? Drive down Friday and leave Sunday AM. We could make reservations at the PARK INN in Linton.
June 6 is National Trails Day. Why not Adopt-A-Trail @ Redbird?
This will be our official cleanup day at Redbird- work the morning, and wheel in the afternoon .
We need all the manpower we can get!
What to bring:
- chainsaws
- pruners
- shovels, picks, awls
- Chains and straps to move trees
- work gloves
- Snacks, drinks, lunch
Here is a copy for the DNR Adopt-A-Trail form

Sounds great Scott!!! I'll mark it on my calendar and see if I can round up some more recruits. If there's enough interest we could reserve some spots at Shakamak St. Park and do some camping.
Aaron.

Is everyone still interested in going to Redbird June 6? I plan on turning in our ADOPT-A-TRAIL APPLICATION in later this week.
In talking to Tony Lance, VP of the Redbird Management Group, he suggested that we adopt one of there newest trails- TRAIL 25. This trail is rated easy and is multi use (note: very senic woods trail, full size vehicles welcome)

I would love to take part in this but I won't have my mangled Jeep ready in time...havin' problems gettin' the tube fenders I ordered I ordered them 2 weeks ago & they said they were in stock...now the lyin' S OB's said they're on back order & don't know when they'll be shipped.
Not happy...not happy at all!

Scott Sparkle and I will be able to make it. Are you going to get a block of rooms at the Park Inn? If you do get us a handicapped room on the ground floor. We will stay Friday and Saturday. Let us know if you want us to get the room ourselves. Professor

Professor,
Why don't you go ahead and get a room ASAP. Might be a busy weekend with high school graduation and the nearby fishing tournaments.
Since both of my daughters are in Bloomington. we will likely drive down Friday and stay with them both nights. I'll drive the MJ over Saturday AM so we can haul stuff around in the back.
Glad to see you folks coming over.
Scott

We have been approved for Trail 25.
How about we meet in the Redbird SRA parking lot at 9:00? I should be driving the blue Jeep comanche (MJ) that day. I will bring a chainsaw, pruners, posthole digger, chain and strap.
Did I miss anything?
